SUCCESSFUL YOUNG LUNG TRANSPLANT

Dr Rela Institute did a double lung transplant on a 18 yr old girl with lung condition called bronchiectasis. She has been living with this condition for the past 6 years, she has been completely oxygen dependent for the past 2 years. When she was referred to me she was on 2 lits of oxygen in 2022 and she worsened over the last 2 years and she was completely bedridden until 2 weeks back. She had to quit school because of her physical condition. she received an organ at the right time. I am extremely thankful to the donor family
